"Hotel Madinat was one of the highlights of our trip to Andalusia. We did the Camino Mozarabe, so we stayed in many hotels along the way. When we ended up in Cordoba at Hotel Madinat, we were immediately welcomed with refreshments in an ancient Arab looking home. The staff goes out of its way to accommodate any needs one may have. The building is a charming old home transformed into a charming hotel with all the modern amenities. We highly recommend this hotel."

"We enjoyed thus quirky, quiet small hotel and the help from Youssef and Cristian at the front. The location was excellent. A short walk from the mosque and other sights, but on a quiet street not likely to see high tourist traffic. Great views from the smal rooftop balcony."

"Lovely stay at Hotel Madinat. Very good location not far from the mezquita. Nice breakfast. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a ground floor room with an enormous roman(?) bath big enough for 2 or more people. I think that’s because we booked direct with them. The staff are lovely, and there’s a great view from the terrace. Parking was easy to find and not far away, though it is not cheap."

"Highly recommend! Well located on a quiet street in the old town. The hotel is lovely - updated but with many original details retained. Great room, very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. A good value."
